Small Classes (5 students) devoted to simply drawing and creating art outside. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday classes are devoted to Animal Art where young artists develop scientific drawing techniques, using the plants and habitats around us.
Students can enjoy each others company and create art while still observing Santa Cruz COVID safety rules. We social distance, mask, sanitize, and include any additional considerations parents might need to feel comfortable that their child is safe and happy while at class. Each student will have their own art supplies and portfolio.
Classes are located on the Tannery Arts Center Campus /San Lorenzo River

Art Outside: Spring & Summer classes
Reserve your space now! Spring Art Outside Camp - Natural world art activities: flower Mandalas, "Andy Goldsworthy" sculptures, making and using chalk, leaf art and sketching. photography & printing.. Every day will be a new exploration. In addition to daily nature art activities, young artists will maintain a portfolio with on going scientific drawings of wild animals from right here, along the river, at the Tannery Arts Center . We will continuer to observe COVID requirements as per county regulations. Each session will be just 5 students. Summer Art Outside Camp dates TBA
