In collaboration with the Coastal Watershed Council, we are seeking eligible young artists to be part of this public art project honoring the San Lorenzo River. Artists will create banners to be installed near the Felker St. pedestrian bridge, that informs San Lorenzo River visitors about the wildlife in and around the river.
What: 2 Free Art classes to make banners for the San Lorenzo Riverwalk When: Tuesday Sept. 9 & 16 , 3:30-5pm Where: River Studio 116 at Tannery Art Center Cost: Free
Eligibility: young artists 6 & up whose families live near or frequent the San Lorenzo Riverwalk ( from the river mouth to the Tannery) Installation: will coinside with the opening of New Leaf Community Market on River Street..
